The Oho

The OHO, from Helsinki, Finland, is a new pop-flavored rock band formed in 2013. The members of the band are: Lappe - Vocals & Guitars, Reeo Tiiainen - Guitars & Backing Vocals, Pete - Bass, Rale - Drums and J.J. - Keyboards. One could say that their debut is their own little symphony, the movements of which the group has been perfecting a long time.

The album was produced by the boys in the band in collaboration with Erno Laitinen and Janne Saksa. The songs have been written by the guitarist and lead vocalist Lappe along with his brother Tommi Tikka.

The members of OHO have toured the world in such bands as Carmen Gray and The Black League. The tune smith duo of Lappe and Tommi have written not only the entire catalog of Carmen Gray but also material for quite a few top artists in Finland. Concorde Music Company proudly presents the OHO's debut "Shakespeares And Waterfalls". The album will come out in the group’s native Finland on April 14 and will see its international release a few weeks later on May 5, coming out in England, Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia and China.

Waterfalls - Drums and cymbals. A catchy pop riff. Not seeking the dead who mess with your soul. Not seeking lies that won't set you free. Instead of waterfalls find the seven seas because life's too short to compromise.

All My Life - Pounding of the drums. More music added. Never found a woman who has the attributes that you have. Now that he's found her, she keeps him wondering. No games. Do you want him?

Lazy Afternoon - One chord of the piano and then the singing. The rest of the music follows. Getting away from the craziness and traveling around the world, while sending postcards, makes you wish you could find the time with the one that matters especially on a lazy afternoon.

I'm Alive - Urgent guitar. The drums kick in. Rocking music follows. When you have the drive of being alive, you feel like a kid again. A rebel of a kid at the age of 16 fighting to love again.

Wizards Tale - Easy going rhythms of guitar. Your arms are a magic wand pointing to the sun. Like in the days of old a wizards tale is told. Because of this, you are loved by this king.

Unloved - Electronics with gradual added instruments. Life inside a time machine comes apart and so the dreams vanish with it. Lighting a fire would help hold you in his heart. See through any lies you tell yourself and feel the love.

The World Stopped Turning - Guitar, the full rush of the band then added keyboard. Secrets of regrets. While trying to contact her, the reception isn't too favorable from others but when alone they keep the fires burning. This is when the world stops turning and time is held dear.

Mrs Extacy - Guitar, drums and harmonies. A fan is listening to a band on her headset. They're telling her what she could have while she closes her eyes in her plastic dome.

Getaway Train - Rocking and rhythm. Never met anyone like her. The blues seem to disappear. There isn't much he wouldn't do. It's like the rush of a touch on a getaway train.

Simply Because I Love You - Gentle keyboard electronics and guitar. Lullaby now. Go back to sleep and don't you cry. He is there holding your hand and smiling. Cloudy skies will break and the sun will shine again. He won't leave. It's simply because he loves you.
