Ghost Season

Ghost Season is a high energy Alternative Metal band from Athens, Greece. Formed back in July 2013, Ghost Season was an idea spawned by Dorian Gates (bass). Within weeks Nick Christolis (guitar) joined to complete Dorian’s vision. The purpose was to create fresh, new material in patterns of Hard Rock and Alternative Metal music. Among the bands that inspire Ghost Season are Revelation Theory, Shinedown, In Flames, Disturbed, Crossfade, Pop Evil, All That Remains, Alter Bridge ect. The goal of the band is to play dynamic and vibrant music, bridging aggressive and melodic elements while keeping the focus on live energy and enjoyment.

Ghost Season completed recording their first EP release “Ghosts like Her”, which was released on September 2014 and received positive reviews especially in the US from fans and critics alike, while they were working at their full length album and scheduling numerous upcoming shows locally in Athens and around Greece. In September 2015, Hercules Zotos joined Ghost Season as their voice and Helen Nota sat on the drummers seat forming the best line-up imaginable for the band.

In late 2015, Hercules and the band went in the studio for the recording of their first single titled “Break My Chains” which was released on December 2015 as a first taste of their upcoming album.

The band signed with Pavement Entertainment (USA) to release their new full length album “Like Stars In a Neon Sky” in January 2017 featuring the video “Fade Away”. The key in “Like Stars In a Neon Sky” is the participation of J.Loren Wince, vocalist of the American-based Alternative Rock band HURT, as co-producer giving also different directions and perspectives and getting involved in every single song.

The Reckoning - Heart beating. Electronic high hit notes. Metal begins. Echoing voice. No violence. Only love and the unity of us all.

Sons Of Yesterday - Power drums and heavy metal guitar. Great rhythm. Forgetting times. Forgetting all the past. Have time for your tears. Don't lie to yourself. Don't forget! We are the sons of yesterday today!

Fade Away - Broken rhythms. Electronic energy of drums and guitars. Progressive rip roaring beats. Whispering and outspoken vibrantly rough and guttural voices. It's you again. You're lost in this meaningless world. When the sky is grey you fade away like a ghost.

The Mirror - Eerie background noise and intermittent electric guitar. A fast rush follows. Shadows letting in the light, the mirror sees a growling figure with a rusted halo. When I look in the mirror it seems everything is falling apart. You're crying with every broken piece. I'm no longer a hero.

War Of Voices - Urgent guitars. All these times we've thrown away. Distant voices remind us we were wrong. We tend to lose control with promises that were left. This is how we lose ourselves. This is how it's always meant to be.

The Highway Part 1 - Guitars at a slow pace. This highway feels so empty. We drown and hide behind our feelings. We keep love locked away.....

The Highway Part 2 - The music picks up pace. Rocking electric. Maybe you're crying. You say so much but don't make a sound. Your eyes are showing distant miles. Whatever you're made of, I'm not coming home tonight. It's a highway to hell and no one can set me free.

Just A Lie - Sad guitar riffs. Echoes then a single guitar. Bass and added drums. You feel love is once in a lifetime. You never forget the scars left upon you. Listen to what I'm saying. Your love was just a lie. Somebody listen. Somebody try because I feel that I've lost my mind.

The Vampire - Reverb music that creeps up on you. From the grave he's coming. Hunger rises then a rushing attack. He is the soulless. He is forever. Giving eternal life from what he stole. Raising up all the pain, the fear and the secrets belonging to you.

Of Hearts And Shadows - Sadly pretty music. Haunting. Warm breath against the skin. Words can't describe the burn felt. The power held over him prolongs his misery.

Break My Chains - Slow mixed metal guitars with spoken whispers. Loud expressive voice. Sky turned in to black. Oceans burned to sand. Whispers call your name. In my heart you aim. Break my chains.

Break Me Shake Me - Power rock. Never thought I'd change my opinion again. You move me in a way I've never known. You use me in a way I've never known. Take me over.
