LILITHS ARMY
Liliths Army is from the UK. The band members are Cleo Cameron: Bass / Backing Vocals, Sylvie Studente: Vocals / Guitar and Emily Nash-Walker: Drums. They are all experienced musicians who have played in other bands. Cleo and Sylvie are both university lecturers and know each other from the local music scene. Cleo and Sylvie decided to work on the band together and get a chick drummer on board so they put up an advertisement for a female drummer. They found an excellent match with Emily.
Emily is currently studying for a bachelors degree. During their first rehearsal together the strap broke on Sylvie's guitar and her Les Paul (called Elle) got smashed. Girls being so nice, Cleo gave Sylvie her SG and they continued practicing. The practice went so well that Sylvie didn't cry over her guitar until much later. Elle has since been repaired and is back out gigging with them.
The band has played a wealth of gigs around the UK including: The Hope & Anchor, The Dublin Castle, The Camden Underworld (London), The Charlotte (Leicester), Edwards No. 8, The Rainbow Warehouse (Birmingham) among other venues.
Resulting from their albums, air play and performances the band received a hail of reviews from fanzines, radio and music magazines including; Dive Music Magazine (UK), Diva Magazine (UK), Zabadak (France), Bubblegum Slut (UK), and radio play from stations such as Kerrang radio (UK), Total Rock Radio (UK), Wolf Radio (UK), 9th Floor Radio (California, USA) and WTSR (New Jersey, USA).
The demo “Feel The Rage” resulted in a promo video to the track “She’s a schizophrenic” which was aired on cable channels in the U.S and Australia. Resulting from this, the band signed to UK independent Dark Sound Records and released two studio albums: “Liliths Army” and “Drain Me”. The title track from “Drain Me” was plugged by the North American Broadcasting Corporation, which resulted in the track reaching number 4 of the Alternative Rock Chart where it stayed for a month.
Following on from the success of the single, the band featured at a number of music festivals including Glastonbury and toured New York before returning to the UK for a national tour. The 3rd album studio album “Disturbed” was recorded in 2015, from which the single “Breathe” was released through UK independent Confidential Records.
Bassist Cleo Cameron and Drummer Emily Nash-Walker completed the all-female line up in 2016 which led to the recording and release of the singe “Got A Girl”. The single and music video release coincided with the bands ‘Midlands Tour’ in August of 2016. The band are currently gigging around the UK and are set to record a new EP due for release in 2017.

Got A Girl - She has enough to afford anything she wants but does she think of me at all? Seven years had gone by. Those moments seemed to fade away. I 'd always thought of you. I've moved on now but did you ever think of me? I was just a girl, a girl that you had.
