GETRZ

GETRZ is from Swindon, Wiltshire, England. The band consists of Josh: Rhythm Guitar/vocals, Dec: Lead Guitar/Vocals, Toby: Bass and Dan: Drums. They've been active for around 6-7 months and in that short space of time have really made a name for themselves. From their local scene they have been reaching out to places like Bristol and London. Their audiences are growing and loving more of what they are hearing. Difficult as it may seem for young artists to find ways to express themselves, they wanted to create different music for others to relate to. There are many great bands out there and GETRZ have found their own niche. They pull out all the stocks and raw energy with their live uncut shows.

In the short time they've been together, recordings of their debut EP and singles have been accomplished with a little help from their good friend and local producer, Theo Altieri. Prestigious venues such as The Fleece and The Garage have honored their presence and the energy they create. GETRZ have fully independently booked a HEADLINE UK TOUR for September 2017! Being a fully independent indie band they do everything themselves, from booking shows, to social media. They strongly believe in what their position represents. At the end of the day, they just want to make great tunes, get people dancing, have a laugh, and support the younger generation providing a voice for them from their music.

Their debut EP is coming out August 25th, 2017. The two singles out now are called 'Jewellery' and 'What He Said'.

Jewellery - High pitch guitar whine. Radio dial. Boxed raw rock opening up to full electric guitar and drums. Post punk. You say. You say - it will be okay. I saw you. I saw you - on the streets today. It's alright.

What He Said - A little rockabilly. A little surf. A lot of shoe gaze and garage rock. When you smoke too much you're really out of touch. Does your mother know you drink a lot. 'Cause when you're in the bar you drink 20 shots. .....
