Tom Proctor and the A-Listers recorded, mixed and mastered their new album 'WORKING MAN' at Dark Horse Recording which is a 4-studio complex set on a multi-acre plot of scenic farmland based just outside of Nashville. They have hosted such names as Taylor Swift, Hunter Hayes, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Alison Krauss, Reliant K, Bela Fleck, Korn and many more. Lead singer and songwriter Tom Proctor has the soul of a biker and a cowboy. It shines through his suntanned face, wind-blown beard, piercing blue eyes, strong shoulders, big hands and every heavy-booted step he takes. It echoes through his music giving color to each song and every acting role he's been in. There are 10 songs listed on this album.

  • Working Man - Complex and thought out  country rock riffs begin the song. 'He fights the traffic to the city and works for very little pay. Can't put tires on the truck right now, the kids started school today.  . . . . '

  • Lost in New Orleans - Beautiful, free flowing piano opening - 'It was somewhere in the city of New Orleans, She's the angel on that silver pole; And they call her by a name she's only made up, 'Cause that girl in her heart they can't know-- . . . . '

  • In Hollywood - Old time rock & roll with the help of a tambourine to carry the tune. 'Little girl here in Hollywood you sure are looking good. Well tell me have you ever seen the walk of fame.  . . . . '

  • The Duel - A bell rings. The song is slow and relaxed. 'Throw down that gun; watch the sunset.  Don't do things, son, that you'll regret. I'm telling you now she's not worth your soul.  . . . . '

  • God Save Me - 'Hell, I was the one who said love is a dark hole, one that I won't be falling in. You come waltzing out on the dance floor, levi's fitting like a second skin.  . . . . '

  • Delete You -  Easy going song with some sadness. 'I'm deleting memories of what used to be with a love that once was mine. 'Cause I can't take the pain of seeing it time and time again and knowing that the blame was mine.  . . . . '

  • Son Of An Outlaw - Western rockabilly and Americana. "I was born a son of an outlaw; natural quick-draw I am. When I come riding into the next town, there'll be a stare down but I know who I am.  . . . . '

  • When Did You Put It In A Song - Slow Americana country. 'At the café bar, the one we got our start; We were saying our final good byes. The lawyers had them papers drawn up And mine were already signed, just to leave it all behind.  . . . . '

  • Devil In My Coffee - Slow rock. 'I pour the devil in my coffee and I drink her deep into my soul, I looked into the eyes of this angel and saw the fires of hell out of control.  . . . . '

  • Why Don't You Go Home - Rough and ready western rock. 'Don't hang that phone up, girl, there's something on my mind; Might want to sit down, Babe, and listen close this time.  . . . . '

Majestic story telling with heart felt passion and orgasmic drama. Thought out through dreams. Americana country. To find out more about Tom Proctor and the A-Listers go to:
