The song spent four weeks on RTÉ Radio 1 Recommends playlist (National Radio) as well as receiving heavy rotation on local stations across the country. In the same month as her debut release, February 2019, Sarah's song 'Magic Powers' was chosen as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Judges in this competition include Tom Waits and The Script. Previous winners include Goyte, Bastille, and Mick Flannery.
You've Got Me is quirky, raw and beautiful. Sarah's voice has a unique potent soulful twang that recalls some of the best acousto-folk with a touch of country. The guitar plays a spirited back tempo skipping and jumping in beat as the music plays. A major expressive yearning as she brings you into her heart.
Sarah has been gigging extensively with support slots for Áine Cahill, HamsandwicH, Cry Monster Cry along with a host of festival appearances including Electric Picnic, Vantastival, Cork Jazz Festival, Sligo Live, Le Cheile Festival, Claremorris Fringe Festival, Achill Battle of the Lakes, Glendalough festival, youBloom, International Pop Overthrow at Liverpool's Cavern Club, and RTE's Reflecting on the Rising.
