Today, GHOSTLY will release his third and best album to date. The songs collection forms a unique blend of many influences ranging from classic rock, soft rock, progressive rock, jazz, blues and pop and is the culmination of many years spent defining his own style. As an enigmatic visionary GHOSTLY BEARD pens emotive progressive-pop. From the vaults of his prismatic artistry he issues a clutch of Eps and albums. “INWARD” is the third official album to come up for download from the artist website and selected platforms. His music, from start to finish is brilliant encompassing a gorgeous example of jazz and fusion.

The ten-track album opens with an existentialist tune that grows strong with many guitar tracks, swings up tempo to bittersweet, rich blues rock to progressive twists, a song to chill to closing with positive expressive tones.

  • How Does It Feel - Upbeat easy rock. 'When you're ready to resign the feeling goes away when you're almost blind. When you're on the edge of time and all the things you've said are not worth a dime.  . . . . '

  • The Love in Your Eyes - Solitary guitar playing signature notes then a full band arrangement accompanies it. A beautiful song dedicated to a love of a mother who had passed away. 'Out of the blue I felt your absence. And into my heart an empty place. I reached for your light, I couldn't find it. What would I give to see you now!  . . . . '

  • Gone - Sad rocking blues. 'Gone the days of endless joy. Gone the days of old. You changed your ways, no longer a wonder boy. You learned to play your role.  . . . . '

  • Autumn Blues - Full-out blues with a hint of jazz. Slow and steady. Instrumental.

  • Night Train - Acoustic instrumental turning into a full thoughtful contemporary jazz arrangement. 'We were strangers on the night train. Riding in the dark. Going nowhere, to speak of... Just escaping from the past. I saw you sitting there, motionless. While the train was speeding fast. Then a tear started falling down. Was it yours or was it mine?  . . . . '

  • Let Go - Easy rocking jazz - 'I've been flying... It felt like flying when you were in my life.Forever I've been lying. And now I'm done, I can't go on anymore. You've earned my love and now it's gone, and I keep thinking, drinking. No! Of all the past I can't let go...  . . . . '

  • It Doesn't Matter - Upbeat contemporary show tune jazzy style. 'A suitcase in the hallway. A taxi at the door. It's such a rainy day. You know she wanted more... The window's steamed. You see. The shadow of a dream. You see it all. And then you look away.  . . . . '

  • 9 to 5 (Barely Alive) - The buzz of people talking within an enclosed area meshes with a lonely piano tune that takes a downhill turn. Sounds go through your head. 'Nine to five, you leave your soul behind. And trade your worried mind to earn your place back in the line another time. In the hive, you can't get by until, You fit right in the middle to help your pain die just a little from nine to five. You're barely alive.  . . . . '

  • Let It Rain - Electric piano playing musical notes like raindrops. Contemporary rock. The song is sung in echoes. 'You never had to break my heart. You never had to tear me the way you did. I'll never trust another one. I need some time to be the same again.  . . . . '

  • Going Away - Upbeat rock. Repetitive song intro sung to the beat then shifting to the song. 'Monday, Tuesday, hard to say what happens everyday... We gotta hurry, gotta work, be ready and smile along the way. Then time goes by and blood at last is rushing through our brains. Who knows what's waiting for us? The time is right again.  . . . . '

Thoughtfully sequenced, Ghostly displays an eclectic array creating majestic signature sonic environments that are sweet yet melancholic. Beneath its dreaminess of his music are themes of absence, yearning for the past, regret and hope. Listeners are offered chances to vibe out and set out on their own inward journey. As a final note, all the proceeds of the sales of this album will be reversed to MusiCounts - https://www.musicounts.ca/ - a Canadian charity organization that helps music education with a wide variety of actions across the country.
