LISSY TAYLOR
Lissy was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England and has spent the last two and a half years living in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. She has been inspired and influenced by a wide range of artists from the US and the UK. Lissy has a passion for music and through traveling has been exposed to many different styles and genres including country. Her musical influences include Norah Jones, Lana Del Rey, KT Tunstall, Johnny Cash, Adele and Ed Sheeran. Lissy teamed up with Broken Crow Studios in Lexington, Kentucky then recorded and released her debut album 'Reminds Me of You' in January 2017.
Reminds Me of You features Nashville musicians Mark Prentice - bass & keys and Michael Severs - lead guitar who have performed with greats such as Bruce Springsteen, Don McLean and Olivia Newton John. Her song Home, from the album, is featured in commercials for the LexGiveBack campaign which Lissy was honored to support: www.lexgiveback.org.

Since moving back to England in June 2017 to study at University, after having graduated High School in the USA, Lissy has performed at The Stone Music Festival, Q In The Park, Leek Blues & Americana Festival opening the main stage at LeeFest The Neverland in August for Jake Bugg. In April 2018 Lissy made her debut performance at Rockwood Music Hall, New York and returned to England to record her 2nd BBC introducing session which will be broadcast May 12th. Later this summer will open the Neverworld festival, 2018, which boasts the headliners Bastille, Tom Grennan, Declan McKenna and Clean Bandit.
