RICKY REBEL

Ricky Rebel is from Upland, California. In 1997, recording artist, then known as Ricky G., burst onto the music scene as the lead vocalist of the boy-band No Authority who later toured with 98 Degrees, Destiny’s Child, Aaron Carter, Ashlee and Jessica Simpson among others. Record producer Rodney Jerkins, who produced Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears's first album, wrote and produced No Authority's first single "Don't Stop". Their next single “Keep On” was then signed on to Michael Jackson's  own MJJ Music custom-label at Sony. In 2000, they signed with Madonna’s Maverick label to release their namesake album. The album reached #18 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart.  Their signature hit, “Can I Get Your Number” peaked at #33 on the Billboard Top 40 chart while “I’m Telling You This” appeared on “The Rugrats in Paris” soundtrack. The band then embarked on a tour with Britney Spears. Following the break-up of No Authority, Ricky became the lead vocalist of Harlow from 2004-2009 during which time he released “Unstoppable” (2005), which was mixed and engineered by Jay Baumgardner at NRG Studios and produced by Grammy-winning producer Randy Cantor (Ricky Martin).

Ricky also leant his voice to films including “Apollo 13” starring Tom Hanks, “Anywhere But Here” starring Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman and the “Anastasia” soundtrack. In addition, he appeared on episodes of “American Dreams”, “Boston Public”, “Audrina” (Vh1) and starred in Debbie Allen’s ballet, “Pepito’s Story”, which opened at the Kennedy Center in New York City. In 2010, Ricky G. became Ricky Rebel. He embarked on a solo career after My Chemical Romance invited him to co-star in their “NA NA NA” and “Sing” videos. In 2012, he won the Artist of the Year at the RAWards and released the “Manipulator” album featuring the hits “Geisha Dance”, “Get It On”, “You Need a Woman” and the title track.  MTV’s “Good Vibes” also featured music from the album.  In 2013, “Geisha Dance” spent ten weeks on the Mediabase Chart, the chart that powers “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”. Ricky now takes the stage with his band members called The Rebel Mafia. The band members are: Ricky Rebel - vocals, Alyson Montez - a Grammy-winning violinist, Harley Duggan - bass, Conrado Pesinato - guitar, Robert Platz - drums, TKEYS - synths and Jonathan Fairchild - backing vocals. Ricky now resides in Hollywood, California.

With so many connections and hits under his belt, glam rocker Ricky Rebel has come out with a chart topper this past 2017 called The New Alpha which had made the U.K.’s Louder Than War coveted “TOP 75 Albums of 2017″ and was dubbed ‘explosive and compelling’ by the Huffington Post. Ricky ended 2017 with “The New Alpha U.K. Tour” performing in the U.K.’s most famous live music venues including ‘The Hope and Anchor’ a pop/punk venue where legendary bands like U2, The Police, The Stranglers and Madness played.   • Sheep - Pounding of the drum and clapping. This pop song keeps building until the music engulfs you with its sexy beat. Are you a leader or a follower like the sheep? "Yeah! You want to know what I really think? Always got to be the guy setting all the people right. Always got to speak my mind even if it's not polite,  . . . . "

  • Teacher's Pet - Random electronic notes played in a pattern. "Touch me. Speed up. Your lips are like fire. Slow down. Don't stop. I'll teach you how to love me.  . . . ."

  • Life Is a Runway (feat. Vivacious) - Snapping finger while singing and then working into electronic pop glam rock. "All eyes on me. I know what to do. Wear your clothes. Don't let your clothes wear you.  . . . ."

  • The New Alpha - Mad drums playing in the background. The song builds. "He's the alpha. He's the new alpha.  Woah ahh woahh ahh woah ohhh ohhhh.  . . . ." The song kicks into a heavy bass dance beat.

  • If You Were My Baby - Glamorous dance pop. You can imagine the glitter. Excellent beats."Hey! Hey baby! You've got that something that's so hard to find. Oh! Oh sugar, when I look into your eyes, it's really no surprise.  . . . ."

  • Magic Carpet - Slow samba beats rocking steady. "Yeah yeah ahhh ahhh ahhh. Life can move sexually. Milk your curiosity. Rub your body onto mine. Gonna have a real good time.  . . . ."

  • Fuckboy - Sexy flamenco rhythm beats. Voice starts echoing. "Boy, you need to understand . . . why, you always lose your mind. Boy, there's a resolution.  . . . ."

  • Warpaint - Dance beats with heavy accents on drums. "Make up is my war paint and I'm on a mission. I'm gonna get what I want and I don't need your permission.  . . . ." Full band comes in complimenting the rest of the song.

  • Mean People ft. Sydney V. Smith - Slow synth beats. "I like hurting you so good. Meant to be not physically. No regret and no remorse. Make you fall in love with me.  . . . . Killer electronics ensue. The song evolves into something beautiful.
  • Time - Clock chimes telling the time and then it fades away. Electronic pop begins to the start of the story. "I lie awake. Thinking of you. I miss your love. What we used to do.  . . . ." The song continues more full bodied and expressive.

  • BOLD - Electronic synth with staccato beats. A voice weaves throughout the sound lilting the tune. "They'll always love you. You will adore them. Nothing they'll make you do. With arms wide open. Step up step up onto the podium. Speak out speak out. Create something new.  . . . ." Full band sound enters.

Unleashed, exuberant, sexual and captivating. Ricky dramatically explodes onto the scene inspiring with powerful, unbiased energy.
